      NEW CONSTRUCTION
  • From plan-room to finished pavement, you can trust Shamrock Paving to manage each detail of   your new paving project.  Our in-house paving team of skilled superintendents, foremen and laborers specialize in subgrade preparation and grading, soil stabilization, base rock installation, asphalt paving and pavement markings.  In cooperation with our project managers, we provide you with a unique one-stop, turn-key experience while remaining sensitive to your deadline and budget.

      ASPHALT AND PAVING FABRIC OVERLAYS
  • Over time, when an asphalt paving surface is exposed to traffic and irrigation, its surface becomes rough and develops fine cracks.  In this case an Asphalt Overlay is a cost-effective solution which adds years of use to the existing pavement.
  • An Asphalt Overlay consists of installing an additional layer (typically 1” up to 2”) of new hot mix asphalt over the old, deteriorated surface.
  • In some cases, when the surface cracks are severe, a Fabric Overlay is the best solution. A Fabric Overlay is similar to an Asphalt Overlay, but adds crack-retarding fabric between the layers of the old and new asphalt.   This “bridges” the cracks delaying the appearance of new cracks, extending your budget dollars and reducing the appearance of future cracks.

      CRACK SEALING
  • Hot rubberized crack seal can be a cost-effective method of preventing the elements from further penetrating your asphalt paving by installing a bead of rubber sealant directly into asphalt cracks (typically ¼” – 1” wide).
  • Crack seal reduces water penetration which adversely affects the stability of your pavement’s subgrade.

      STRIPING
  • Freshly painted pavement markings and proper signage are the finishing touches for many paving projects.
  • Striping and signage provide a crisp look to any street or parking lot and are crucial for traffic safety and help maximize parking capacities.
  • Our in-house striping crews will assist you by restriping existing stalls or in creating a new configurations per plan-sheets or  a custom, agreed upon design.

      CONCRETE AND ADA COMPLIANCE
  • Shamrock Paving’s concrete teams will be happy to help you address you concrete paving needs. We will replace your damaged planter curbs, sidewalks, V-gutters, approaches and dumpster pads.
  • In addition to the standard concrete items above, Shamrock Paving can address your sensitive ADA compliance needs.
  • We install ADA compliant access ramps, detectable warning tiles (truncated domes) and ADA compliant signs to ensure your properties meet the current requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act.

      ASPHALT REPLACEMENT
  • As asphalt reaches the last stages of its life-cycle, it begins to crack.
  • Cracked asphalt allows water to penetrate the openings and destabilize the base rock and soil under it and will soon develop potholes and  dense cracking called “alligatoring”.
  • Asphalt that is damaged and cracked all the way through can only be remedied by a full-depth removal and replacement.
  • Once removed, the base rock and soil beneath are re-compacted and new hot mix asphalt is installed, restoring a smoother driving surface and reducing your exposure to trip hazards.

     SEALCOAT
  • One of the most vital tools in your pavement management toolbox is Sealcoat.
  • Sealcoat is a mixture of hydrated asphalt emulsion, sand and mineral fillers with UV filtering qualities.
  • Asphalt is a flexible pavement. The regular application of sealcoat, offers UV protection, increases asphalt’s ability to shed water, and protects the oil in the pavement, prolonging its flexibility.
  • Sealcoat gives grey, weathered asphalt a deep, rich, like-new appearance which adds to the curb-appeal and value of any property.
  • Call Shamrock Paving today if your property has not been sealcoated in the last 3-4 years.
